| Allgood & Mehrhof was originally founded as Allgood
& Childs on April 1, 1954, by Thomas F. Allgood, Sr.
and T. Allen Childs, Jr. The firm has been in continuous
operation since its inception. The firm has had significant
successes throughout east Georgia and all of South Carolina
in diverse types of cases, including automobile negligence,
serious burn injuries, industrial accident, workers' compensation,
products liability, environmental, medical malpractice,
trucking, premises liability cases and complicated family
matters involving divorce and custody. All members of
the firm are partners and all are licensed to practice
in Georgia and South Carolina. The firm has been at its
present location since 1964, in a distinctive building
located in the heart of the "Garden City".
